Non-surgical Hemorrhoid Treatment
Hemorrhoids are enlarged and bulging veins in and around the anus and rectum similar to varicose veins. They can develop inside the rectum (internal hemorrhoids) or under the skin around the anus (external hemorrhoids). Often, hemorrhoids subside with home treatments and lifestyle changes. However, external hemorrhoids can remain causing embarrassment, frustration, and cleanliness issues.
Up to this point, only an invasive surgery with long recovery time was available. However, with the FormaV by InMode, we are able to offer hemorrhoid treatment that minimizes the appearance of external hemorrhoids leaving them smaller.
How does it work?
Using a handheld device, radiofrequency (RF) is applied to the vaginal tissue leaving it feeling warm. It is safe and gentle. The device keeps the tissue at the optimal temperature to trigger thermal remodeling which will result in the tightening of the underlying skin structure.

What happens at a FormaV appointment?
First, you will have a comprehensive consultation with one of our providers. RF energy is applied to the area leaving it feeling slightly warm. The treatment will last approximately 10-15 minutes. After the tissue reaches the optimal temperature, the hemorrhoids will tighten and continue to tighten a little over time.
